Accessibility Statement

I treat accessibility as part of the work rather than an addition to it. This page sets out what has been done to make the site usable by as many people as possible, what the known limitations are, and how to reach me if you run into a problem.

Level of conformance

The site was built following the WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA, in the spirit of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard 5568.

What has been done

• Full semantic structure: headings in correct hierarchy, navigation regions, main content and footer properly marked up for screen readers.
• Complete keyboard navigation, with no focus traps, and a clear visible focus indicator on every reachable element.
• Colour contrast tested against the background and meeting the thresholds for both regular and large text.
• Alternative text for images that carry information. Purely decorative images are marked as such so screen readers skip them.
• Text that can be enlarged to 200 percent without loss of content, broken layout or horizontal scrolling.
• The system reduced-motion preference is respected: anyone who has set their device to limit animation gets the site without transitions or animations.
• Correct language marking on every page and correct text direction for Hebrew, English and French.
• The site works on phone, tablet and desktop, in current versions of the common browsers.

Known limitations

Links on this site lead to external sites and services, for example WhatsApp and the app stores. Their accessibility is not under my control and is not covered by this statement.

Accessibility is ongoing work. There may be a corner where an issue has not yet been found. If you find one, please tell me and I will fix it.
