In short

Waves collects no data. Everything you record stays on your device, encrypted, and is never sent to any server, ours or anyone else's.

What is stored and where

Your daily entries (mood, sleep, medication, energy, tags and notes), your personal plan and the contacts you add to it are stored only inside the app on your phone, encrypted with a key kept in the device's secure keystore. The app has no user accounts, no server, no analytics and no ads.

Sharing and backup

Data leaves your phone only when you choose: when you share a PDF summary, or save a backup file encrypted with a password only you know. Where that file goes is your choice and subject to the terms of the service you pick.

Permissions

Face ID / fingerprint: only to lock the app, if you enable it; the app never receives biometric data. Notifications: only for the daily reminder, if you enable it.

Deletion

You can delete all data at any time from Settings. Deleting the app also deletes all data. We hold no copy, so it cannot be recovered.

Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children.

Not a substitute for care

Waves is a personal diary. It does not diagnose or treat and is not a substitute for professional care. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
